Terms and Conditions
  • ​​​​​​​Tentative Bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days.

  • Payment by cash or bank cheque is due prior to or immediately concluding the function unless an account is issued. The centre does not accept credit cards.

  • Account Terms of settlement are 30 days.

  • Guarantee of minimum numbers of guests is required 3 working days prior to any function. Charging is based on not less than the final number.

  • Notice of Cancellation must be advised no later than 5 full working days prior to event date. If less than 5 full working days notice prior to the event date is given a 20% cancellation fee or greater fee applies depending on time of notice given.

  • Failure to notify cancellation incurs full 100% of total booking.

  • Professional cleaning costs will be on-charged should it be deemed necessary.

  • The meeting/conference facilitator acknowledges that he/she wil ensure that sign on sheets for all attendees present will be filled in accurately and that the Brisbane Catholic Education fire and emergency evacuation notification will be read out to all present.

  • The meeting/conference facilitator/presenter acknowledges that he/she will undertake the role of Deputised Fire Warden for their event and will be responsible for the safe evacuation of all their participants in the event of evacuation. NB: A registration sign on/off sheet must be completed for all attendees in order to account for all persons should an evacuation be carried out.

  • The Fr Bernard O'Shea In-Service Centre does NOT accept responsibility for loss or damage of equipment or merchandise left on the premises prior to, during or after a function.

  • Management reserves the right to assign another room for the organised function in the event the rooms originally designated is unavailable or inappropriate.
